About

Betsy Neis is a freelance fashion and lifestyle illustrator. Her love of fashion started with old Hollywood films and fashion sketches from designers such as Bernard Newman, Edith Head, and Helen Rose.

She began designing and illustrating early in her childhood, bringing her characters to life through their clothing and stories. Her love of old Hollywood films inspired her to pursue a B.A. in Cinema Arts, with an emphasis on Cinematography, which now informs how she views composition, lighting, and color in her illustration and design work for clients.

Pursing the arts has been a long time passion of Betsy as she also co-founded a creative magazine for young artists around globe with her sister. Siblíní Journal delves into the creative community and provides a space for young voices in various artistic industries.

Betsy also co-hosts a podcast about Formula One racing called Speed Trap Podcast. Inspired by her passion for motorsport, she joined up with her friend Sophie Forsyth for spirited discussions, interviews with professionals, and intense analysis of the latest motorsport events.
